 The Heritage School, Vasant Kunj has a fleet of 19 Air Conditioned buses with trained drivers and cheerful conductors. We transport approximately 700 students everyday, which is a huge number by any account. Currently our routes cover most parts of new Vasant Kunj and we plan to optimise travel time for the children. The demand for school transport is increasing day by day and is available on a first-come basis.
Bus Rules:
- All students using the school bus are expected to be at the Bus Stop at least five minutes before the arrival time of the bus.
- Buses will not wait for the Latecomers
- Children should stay away from the main road until the bus arrives.
- No students should come near the entry door of the bus unless it comes to a complete halt.
- All students must occupy the vacant seats immediately after boarding the buses.
- The front door of the bus is the only authorised entrance and exit.
- The drivers are authorised to stop buses at the designated stops only, unless otherwise directed by the teacher in the bus. The list of stops is prepared keeping in view the convenience and safety of all bus commuters and always subject to change.
- When the bus is in motion students must not move around and no parts of their body should be outside the bus.
- Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
- Students will be held responsible for any damage caused to the bus by negligence or vandalism.
- Unruly behaviour like shrieking and shouting is strictly prohibited. Courteous behaviour is expected at all times.
- The driver attention must not be distracted for any reason.
- On receiving a complaint of a student causing indiscipline or being disobedient to the bus staff, the student is liable to have his/her bus facility withdrawn.
- Parents are requested not to complain to bus driver/ guard but report the matter to the transport in-charge/ section educator in writing.
