T he medical room is equipped with the required medical aids like there is a well-trained nurse who is present throughout the day on all working days to take care of all medical needs (minor ailments) of students. The school also has a tie-up with a nearby hospital in the case of any emergency.
In case of an accident or injury that requires immediate intervention of a specialist, the student is rushed to the hospital and the parents are immediately informed about the same. The parents are also consulted for the choice of hospital. Children are diagnosed closely and are taken care of in an ambience full of warmth and affection. A record of the medical visits is kept in school so as to understand the pattern of medical needs required by the child through the year/years.
The almanac consists a health record sheet. Parents are advised to enter the relevant information relating to allergies, infections, vaccinations in the record sheet.
